Well, I must say this was a weekend for the books. I know that today should be a Not Me! Monday post, but I just don't have it in me to review all the things I "didn't" do today. It's like revisiting embarrassing moments...Sure, sometimes it can be fun. (all depending on the degree of embarrassment).
This weekend was Valentine's weekend, as we all know. Friday night was a lot of fun. My wonderful husband brought me home beautiful white carnations (his fraternity's flower) and magenta roses, explaining to me that if I'd like to go see "Dear John" (the new Nicholas Sparks movie) that it would be his "Valentine's duty" to take me to see it. Now, mind you, I hadn't mentioned going to see this movie whatsoever, so this statement was extraordinary! And, of course, I couldn't let the opportunity slip by so we made plans to go see the late movie after having dinner at Crocker park.
We never made it to the movie, because by 9p.m. I was about to fall asleep invour cozy Vieng's booth. Vieng's Asian Bistro is a restaurant we just discovered and it is definitely a keeper! They have the best hibachi fried rice I have been able to find here in Cleveland--and the wonderful part is that they offer sushi (which Josh adores) and an entire line of Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese cuisine. It is like a more cozy/trendy/cool PF Chang's with a menu twice as long.
My husband of two point four three months bought me something for Valentine's Day that I could have only dreamed of owning in the next, oh, decade or so. The Canon 7D.
THE Canon 7D.
Yeah. I know. My mouth dropped and I'm still slightly in awe.
I am not worthy!
