It's Gonna Be a Bright and Sunshiney Day!

What a beautiful Friday here in the Land of Cleve.  Seriously, I have yet to see as beautiful a day so far this spring.

I had a doctor's appointment this morning.  Two weeks ago, I scheduled (as directed by my specialist) an ultrasound to be done of my gallbladder at my primary care physician's office.  Well, whomever at the doctor's office scheduled my appointment failed to realize the primary care office doesn't HAVE an ultrasound machine!  Haha.

So, my appointment for the ultrasound is (for sure this time) next week and we'll make sure I don't need gallbladder surgery.  My doctor is convinced I have ulcer disease (not just one ulcer that came and went back in November), meaning I will have to be on medication everyday forever and ever.  Blah!  Whatever it is, gallstones or ulcer disease, we will know soon enough!

Moving on, I feel as though I made good use of my time off on this beautiful day:

My doctor's office is about 3 minutes from my parents' house, so I went and had a late breakfast with my mom and then went to get my oil changed and pick up thirty-one (yes, 31) shirts from the drycleaner's.  They are all Josh's button-ups and we save up all of them until we get a $1 per shirt coupon and haul them all in at once.  :)  I iron everything else, because I am a cheapskate when it comes to drycleaning.  Should I admit that?  Possibly not.

So then I had a wonderful veggie bowl for lunch with my sister and her boyfriend at Chipotle.  I bid them bye-bye as they are leaving tomorrow to go back to college in South Carolina and then headed to get my hair cut.

I now have, (and I directly quote my haircutterlady), "swoopy bangs."  And a shorter 'do in general.

I just think I have some shorter layers and a new part, but whatevs.  I'll take it.

Now I'm at home on the couch, living room windows open, watching my little beagle take a nap in the sunshiney spot on Josh's recliner.  She loves to nap in the sunshine.  I want to have a bay window for her to nap in everyday!  We have not given up 100% on buying a home.  We certainly won't be able to get what we'd found and loved, but maybe something very, very inexpensive and a fixer-upper.  I'm not getting my hopes up too high on finding something, but if there is a home out there for us, we are determined to find it.  I just ask that it has a bay window seat for my Belle to nap in.

Ok, I really just ask that it has a roof and some good walls and floors (and a kitchen with at least some really good potential).  And a bedroom or three.

I'm not sure what all is in store for this weekend besides househunting, but I'm glad Josh will be coming home soon so we can go do something to take advantage of this awesome weather before it gets dark (and cools off!)  Perhaps a trip to Lakewood is in the works.
