Not Me! Monday

Hey Bloggies,

It's Not Me! Monday again.   You know, that's when I share with the blogging community everything I haven't done recently.  This ingenious blog-idea stems from Mckmama.  You can click on the cute clipart above and it will take you to her blog world.  Mckmama has thousands upon thousands of readers, so I thought to myself, this must be an ingenious blog-idea.  An epiphany, if you will.  So, about six or seven Mondays ago, I decided to partake in the ingenious blog-idea and let loose.

Here it is...another Not Me! Monday.  Here's what I haven't done lately.
This weekend I didn't throw clean socks back into the wash to avoid having to match them with their sock-mates.  heehee!

Aforementioned clean laundry + twice-washed socks are not still sitting in folded piles in the living room floor, waiting to be put away.  Also, this is most assuredly not a frequent occurrence in my house.   Puh-leez!

Today I did not park in an illegal spot (the college reserves about 15 spots for certain workers at the college).  These spots are always open and without cars parked in them, which leads me to believe

           1) these people never come to work or
           2) these reserved spots are a joke
played on regular faculty and staff.

I believe, to the best of my inductive and deductive reasoning*, both one and two to be accurate.

I'm friends with one of the campus police officers, but I most certainly did not confess to him about not parking illegally.

The officer (we will call him Joe) informed me later that it might be either a $25 or $50 ticket if I had parked in that illegal parkzone.

I did not almost cry at the thought of a $50 ticket.  I mean, holy moly.  If I had parked there, like a crazy woman, it would have been just so I could be at work on time!

Disclaimer:  I did leave for work an hour before my shift began so as to be on time, no matter where I may or may not have parked my car.

After trying to wrap my head around the concept of explaining a $50 ticket to my hubble, I did not hurriedly move my car from the illegal parkzone.  If I HAD perchance parked there, I would be so proud to announce to you bloggies that my car was ticket-free!  Yipee!!

Yeah.  Pays to have friends in law enforcement.

All kidding aside.

No really.

Here's to Tuesday, which is quickly approaching us.  We all know Tuesday Bluesday, Snoozeday, Schmtuesday...but it does bring us closer to the weekend.

I wish I could have one of those sitcom "applause" buttons.  I think that, in this post, after the word "weekend," applause would add just the slightest touch of dramatic flair.

Ok, ok.  I'm finished.

*I can never remember inductive and deductive reasoning's differences.  I remember, possibly incorrectly, that "deducing" is kin to"inferring," which is also close to "implying," "deferring," and "referring."  Ok ok, before the powers that be take away my master's degree for reasons of ignorance and pointless rambling, I will really end this post.

Good night, Bloggies :)
