Right now I'm sitting on the couch using my new Toshiba laptop (my old-trusty-laptop kicked the bucket) and my sweet hubble went out and insisted I have a new-shiny-laptop the very next day. So, while Josh watches the Auburn game from his most favorite recliner and Belle is curled up, dreaming of chewies and walks and new wonderful scents to track, I am taking advantage of the free time to blog.
Sadie is performing her usual duties as Resident Protector Dog. We did clip her nails this morning and I clipped one too short :( She was not happy and I think she thought she did something wrong and I was mad with her. Poor girl. She is the sweetest dog.
Update: It snowed too much and will continue to snow too much, so of course I baked a big apple pie and we won't be making it over to my mom's for any world-famous pizza :( I can't tell you how disappointed I am!!
So, looking back at 2009, there were some very hard times and some very happy times. I'd like to share some of the highlights of 2009 and take a peek forward to what we hope for in 2010.
Well, for starters, January of 2009 marked our first year anniversary here in Cleveland. Yes, it's cold, and yes it's icy and snowy sometimes, but the summers are mild and the parks and lake and suburbs are wonderful, family-oriented places.
We celebrated in March my new, wonderful job and personally, I've been celebrating ever since. In May, our new sweet miracle nephew, Aaden Cash was born! Re-Welcome to the world, Aaden! He is growing more and more into the cutest little man you have ever seen! See what I mean?!
Aaden on his trip home!
Aaden in October! What a big boy!
Well, in July, Josh graduated with his BS in Political Science and Business and I graduated with my Masters in Public Administration. Shortly thereafter, we celebrated Josh's new job as Director of Placement for a local school in the area.
We have just had the most wonderful year, rounding out 2009 by getting married in Jamaica! It was beautiful and we miss the warm, balmy Caribbean weather.
So what does 2010 have in store for us all? My hope is for health, happiness, and prosperity. You know, the usual :)
