I can't wait until it is time to go visit them again (every day around dusk Josh and I ride our bikes down to see them) and snap some pictures of them getting a bite to eat. And then, oh then, when they have their baby deer! Those will be fun photo shoots!
Ok, so, on to the point of today's blog. Or to the plot, or lack thereof. You decide.
Tuesday, Schmtoozday. Monday is the beginning of the week, a chance to start over, or begin new things, new projects, etc. Wednesday marks the middle of the work week and a hurdle successfully jumped at 5:00pm, signifying a glorious downhill slope towards the weekend. Thursday, of course, is the day before Friday and Friday needs no explanation at all if you ask me.
But Tuesday...who needs Tuesdays? Tuesdays Schmtoozdays. There is nothing significant about Tuesdays in the Officially Unofficial Timeline of the Workweek. Tuesday is just another day, too far from Thursday to spark excitement about Friday, too far removed from Monday to consider it part of the Monday New Week Start.
So this
Just to be real and not blog about only the good. Yeah. Just so I'm not highlighting only on the..well, highlights...my hubble and I got some rather stinky news this afternoon, but will work through it. We can look at it as our first obstacle to overcome as Mr. and Mrs.! Sorry. That was corny. So I took my pouty self outside, clad in snow boots and a pair of Josh's giant fleece-lined gloves and gave the snow on our driveway hell. And if I might add, my snow boots and fleece-lined gloves totally kicked butt.

Wait, it's already snowed again.
Rachel 1. Driveway snow 1.
Rematch: tomorrow.
So, to further brag, I shoveled the entire driveway clean in less than one hour (no applause, please) and promptly came in and fixed a Water and Ibuprofen (straight up, no rocks) cocktail in advance for my backache. Now I am chatting online with my Seester Emily and am fading fast. No, she's not that boring to talk to. I'm just sleepy.
Our fridge is starting to sound like a coffee pot
Well, bloggyfriends, I bid you good night. And will bid you good morrow...er...tomorrow!

The snow will prevail in the end!
ReplyDeleteNot if I get the last shovel in before Spring. Then, I win all.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you actually have snow to vent on! We miss work tomorrow (which we will have to make up in February far away from the Christmas holidays when I was a little refreshed), and we won't even end up with any snow on the ground!!!
